Kalaiyarasan is a cultural trainer and founder of Giramiya Puthalvan Academy. He has learned 32 different folk art forms and is recognized as a multi-world record holder.
At age 19, he organized 1,700 Parai music artists to play together for one hour without stopping. He set a Guinness World Record for performing the Tamil folk dance Karagattam while picking up needles with his eyelids.
He holds over 28 world records for his folk art performances. Kalaiyarasan is also recognized as a Youth Ambassador to the United Nations International Youth Society and for Sustainable Development Goals.

Controversy
Kalaiyarasan has faced public criticism regarding his claims and actions. His spiritual claims, such as seeing divine figures or having a “third eye” opened at age 7, have drawn public discussion and doubt.
